Update 5-25-09 Memorial Day

God Bless those who have given their lives in war for our country. God be with their families.
Much has happened since my last entry. A couple of kiln loads that I didn’t get on this blog. Mostly things already shown.
We did the Midtown Art Fest on May 9th. It was a makeup day and not as well attended as hoped. I was able to set up under some wonderful trees that kept me cool. Here are a couple of pictures of the setup.

Where I will be on 4-18-09

News Flash   Midtown Art in the Park has been postponed due to expected BAD weather.  The new date is May 9.  Come to the show after the Art Car Parade!

There was a lot going on today. After coaching my son’s soccer game, I headed over to the East End Urban Market. I setup there to do a throwing demonstration.

The Crow’s Nest in La Porte

If you make it to La Porte Texas, look up the Crow’s Nest Gallery.  It has a wonderful mixture of bronze sculptures, paintings, jewlery and some very cool Indian head-dresses.  Oh yea, they have some nice pottery as well. 

The Crow’s Nest is located in a residential area.  You won’t just happen upon it.  You will have to know where you are going.  Look them up at www.crowsnestartgallery.com

Scott is a great friend who often works with me at the shows.  It is incredible how much time and effort he gives me just to spend some good friendship time together.  He is also very instrumental in providing new ideas for products and display.

Sat March 7 2009 was the First Saturday Art Market in the Heights.  It was great to see all the artists, friends and shoppers who came by.

Sat April 4 2009 will be the next First Saturday Art Market.  Look for me in the back right corner (as always).
